Reiki Treatments

Reiki is a gentle form of hand-on healing in which the hands are lightly held on or above prescribed area of the body. Reiki, which means “universal life force energy” or Spirit-guided energy, transmits this energy through the Reiki practitioner to the person receiving the treatment. The client draws the appropriate amount of energy to the areas where it is needed.

Reiki is very safe, deeply comforting, and healing. A session lasts approximately one and quarter hours and is done fully clothed. Usually practiced on a massage table, Reiki can be adapted to a bed or chair.

Reiki Classes

Upcoming Class Schedule

Reiki classes are for those who wish to learn this gentle, powerful healing art for personal health and healing or for practice on others. Reiki is taught in three levels.

Reiki Level I teaches the history and principles or Reiki, hand positions for treatments on self and others, and gives the four attunements for Level I practice. The attunements “turn on” the ability to be a conduit for the universal healing energy. Full day Reiki I classes are offered several times a year.

Reiki Level II teaches the three basic Reiki symbols, distance healing, and introduces material on the chakras (energy centers) and intuition. The attunements for Reiki II amplify the flow of universal energy. Full day Reiki II classes are offered several times a year.

Reiki III (Master Level)
Reiki III is for those who have done Reiki I and Reiki II, wish to enrich their Reiki journey, and would like to teach Reiki. The Reiki Master class includes attunement to the Master level, introduces the Master symbol, deepens the experience of Reiki through internal and external practices, and teaches the attunements for Levels I, II, and III.  You will be guided to delve deeply into the practice of Reiki as you connect with, and learn from, your class community.
